NSSA Executive Director
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary customer service representative for members of NSSA/ISA.
- Maintain NSSA membership database.
- Responsible for NSSA membership recruitment and retention.
- Monitor effectiveness of existing member benefits and services of NSSA and identifying new opportunities to support membership.
- Maintain bookkeeping through QuickBooks Online.
- Coordinate joint membership program with ISA.
- Coordinate with the ISA membership team on sign company membership status.
- Process daily mail and telephone communications.
- Handle Association correspondence to Board of Directors, members, potential members, and associated organizations.
- Manage and coordinating activities of the NSSA Board of Directors and NSSA committees.
- Provide timelines and progress reports to Board members concerning Association matters.
- Work with the NSSA Board of Directors on development of annual plan.
- Prepare annual NSSA budget and financial reports; accountant, and Treasurer.
- Work with NSSA Secretary on recording, compiling, and distributing Board and general membership meeting minutes.
- Develop and produce membership materials, monthly newsletters, and marketing materials to promote conventions and seminars.
- Manage NSSA networking and tradeshow/tabletop events in collaboration with the NSSA Board.
- Plan and coordinate logistics of meetings and events.
- Manage content on NSSA website.
- Represent NSSA at industry events.
Requirements
- Experience in similar role.
- Experience in or strong knowledge of the sign industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in QuickBooks
- Proficient in WordPress
- Use of Zoom or Teams
- Proficient in Constant Contact or another marketing platform.
- Ability for periodic travel.
Compensation
- This is a 1099 position; candidate is responsible for maintenance of home office to include phone and computer.
- Reimbursement for travel expenses to NSSA events.
